Is something wrong with my cats teeth?
It sounds like the gum may be infected and the swelling is over lapping the teeth. This is something a vet should see. Hope it all works out. All the best;~)
Reply:Take your cat to vet to make sure it;s not dental disease. Best of luck.
Reply:Cats need dry cat food to keep their teeth clean.
Reply:Take him to the vet and get it checked out. It could be periodontal disease - he may need antibiotics and/or a dental cleaning.
Reply:cats can have dental problems , especially if they eat food other than dry cat food

its very important...
Reply:a couple of the cats at the shelter I work at are actually allergic to their own saliva -- kinda like auto-immune. We've had all of their teeth removed and their gums have hardened. Now they're as happy as can be.

Check with your vet to have them looked at and schedule a dental cleaning.
