Which service to use:

Decide for yourself which is best. About "picasa" - it's a web album and a free software which lets you edit and organize the pics on your computer, there's a foto chat and much more...

About Facebook: it's a social network tool which lets you upload pics and videos, write notes, import external blogs, find friends and classmates, and more...

Kodak Gallery, Shutterfly and Snapfish specialise in printing photos, so Yahoo Photos users may be more familiar with those services. Photobucket is used mostly for hosting images that appear on blogs and sites such as myspace.

"lichtbildwerkstatt" is a German based but internationally operating foto community

Fotocommunity is a very well organized community with contests. It offers sections about tips and tricks and it also offers users' meetings.
