Ok, so I have horrible horrible teeth and my ortho is suggesting that I take out my laterals, and then turn my cuspids into laterals...but in that way I won't have any cuspids. Now of corse he will shape the cuspida and make them look like laterals but should I do it?
Do you guys think I will look horrible, and if you have some pictures with people who have turned their cuspids into laterals please show me......help me make a decision please!!!!!

Something wrong here. Removing laterals and trying to make cuspids look like laterals will not be attractive result. It just can't be done well. Have never heard of it being done in 25 years+ experience. Go get a 2nd opinion.

Ask your orthodontist about them. The laterals come out, the space is filled by two implants and you don't have to sacrifice your cuspids. This may or may not be a viable option - but ask!
If you do have your teeth reshaped, it's unlikely that it would be noticeable to anyone but you and your dentist.
Reply:I am not an orthodontist but this sounds very unusual. Usually people with crowded teeth have to have their 1st or 2nd premolars taken out. You definitely need a 2nd opinion. Seriously!!
Reply:Speak with your general dentist. In over 30 years of practice I've never had any of my patients get their lateral incisors extracted for ortho.
